Frédérique Dimarco asked me to create the scenography for her series "le tendre espace" for the Baxton Gallery in Belgium as well as for the creation of her book.
For the realization of the book, the work took place in several stages during a few months :
- selection of the artistic photography in order to have a coherent whole to assemble.
- choice of the graphic charter - colors, typographies, texts, layout.
And finally the realization of the model for the printer.
The scenography is an extension on the walls of the book with some accentuations in order to reinforce the purpose.
Frédérique Dimarco m'a sollicitée afin de réaliser la scénographie de sa série "le tendre espace" pour la Baxton Gallery en Belgique ainsi que pour la création de son livre.
Pour la réalisation du livre, le travail s'est déroulé en plusieurs étapes durant quelques mois :
- une séléction des images afin d'avoir un ensemble cohérant.
- le choix de la charte graphique - couleurs, typographies, textes, mise en pages.
Et pour finir la réalisation de la maquette pour l'imprimeur.
La scénographie est un prolongement sur les murs du livre avec quelques accentuations afin de renforcer le propos.
